Do real conservatives get behind a 5 fold increase in the number of H-1B visas?
If they go to highly qualified individuals in fields such as IT, absolutely. We need them, we don't have them, and if we don't import them we'll just be competing against them.
Unfortunately, the end result of H1B is usually to replace worthless $30/hr US IT workers with worthless $15/hr foreign workers.
