Or of course...you could be polite and comply. Challenge unwarranted behavior in court, etc.at an appropriate time. Not on the side of the road.

(I actually envy your police presence. I wouldn’t be annoyed at all if they were on my neck of the woods.)
I don't need the police to "ensafen" my immediate vicinity. I've got it covered, and I'm not the shy & retiring type.
Perhaps you need more neighbors like me.
