A Nicaraguan woman lured to the U.S. with promises of work and a better life was imprisoned in a closet in Richmond and sexually assaulted and physically abused on a daily basis for a year, police say.

Richmond police arrested 35-year-old Eulogio Constantino-Sanchez and a male relative Tuesday at a home in the city’s Iron Triangle neighborhood, a blue-collar area between downtown and Interstate 580.

Boeving said that she wasn’t familiar with the details of the investigation but that if the woman was not in the country with legal documentation, she could obtain a special visa allowing her to remain to cooperate with prosecutors.

What a scam. Sneak into our country, become a victim, access our legal system that you previously ignored, get rewarded with a green card.

Yeah all you have to do is be raped by a dozen men on a daily basis for a year. Seems so easy

Interesting the part about being raped by a dozen men. Don’t find it in the posted story. I can only deal with the facts as presented.

Millions of women and children are traded around the world as sex slaves. The perps and users should be executed.

Curiously, the SF Gate forgot to report the immigration status of Eulogio Constantino-Sanchez. An article at “Inside Bay Area” (or some such) ended with the revealing statement that DHS might join “the investigation”.

No you were free to speculate when you imagined her motivation for coming here.

Its well know what happens to sex slaves. Kinda why they are called sex slaves.

Or perhaps you think she was serving ice cream in a Dairy Queen? Perhaps sweeping up lawn clippings? Maybe working in an auto plant?
