A smart conservative approach requires an honest examination of the science before dismissively making erroneous generalizations.
Conservatives are supposed to be smart, not act without thinking everything through (long-term consequences).

Entire countries are halting the adoption of GMO food crops from being introduced into their food supply out of real safety issues.

And, through natural pollination, it’s possible for that genetic attribute to inadvertently spread to non GMO corn crops. That happened with Starlink corn, and Monsanto soybeans.
It is recklessly irresponsible to introduce genetically toxic attributes into crops unless it’s been INDEPENDENTLY tested for safety and verified that the toxic attribute cannot be controlled from spreading to other crops.
