My point was they called a bias attack which I’ve rarely heard used meaning I guess it’s less offensive than a hate crime which produces a penalty of sorts. I guess attacks against Christian and Jews are bias attacks whereas ......

Yes, you’re right. I think also that the whole concept of “hate crimes” is odious.
