Convenient that Zippy’s visiting his birthplace and can’t attend. Better, anyway - I have relatives & friends interred at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, and wouldn’t want BO soiling hallowed ground with his presence, as he does at Arlington, where my parents and other family & friends rest (and God willing, one day so will I).
Sorry, but this reminds me of McCain canceling his campaign to handle the economy crisis.
If he has a pattern of going to military funerals around the country the good for him. If this is just what he does as a Presidential candidate, then it seems a lot like a politician.
