Police in Oklahoma say they have turned to social media posts for clues about the motive of a teenager accused in the stabbing deaths of his parents and three siblings during a late-night attack that left bodies strewn through the family's home.
A booking document filed by police in the Tulsa suburb of Broken Arrow accuses Robert Bever, 18, of five counts of first-degree murder and a count of aggravated assault in the attack Wednesday night.
Bever's 16-year-old brother also was being held. Because he is a juvenile, officers have not released his name or announced charges against him. Broken Arrow Police Cpl. Leon Calhoun said both brothers were cooperating with the investigation.

Maybe Ward was a little hard on the Bever last night.

I was going to go there...
Set bevers to “stun”.
lol!
Is everything a joke? Children were murdered, parents murdered. Is nothing sacred?
I like #sandmomunists better. # = pound. Not hash(ish) tag. :>}
From the pics, I wouldn’t doubt if meth was somehow involved.
Is mental illness a motive.
Why do these news outlets always look for a motive... when a crazy crime is committed by a crazy there is no motive
If both brothers are cooperating why do they not know what the motives were?
Im gonna go out on a limb and say meth,,,
First thing that came to my mind after seeing the 18 year old.
The “Bad Seed” is not a myth. Sometimes it happens.
They definitely aren't "conservatives and make FR look bad.
We lived in Broken Arrow for four years. Nice place. We, and many of our friends, had to move following the combined oil/telecom meltdown in 2002.
Prayers up for this family.
(When I read “motive unclear,” I was expecting it to be one of those “senseless” Mohammed attacks.)
It's a shocking tragedy. Horrifying. But, also, this family was allegedly "isolated" and "homeschooled." (The media loves to put those two words together. One neighbor said something about his son being in school with the oldest killer, so maybe the oldest was in school at some point, but the media isn't even asking about that.)
And the media has found a way to tie the story to firearms somehow. Some of the news reports claim a "box of ammunition" was scheduled for delivery to that house on Thursday.
The boy who called 911 as he was dying saved his 13yo sister, his 2yo sister, and possibly many other people because police arrival sent the killers running out of the house.
It's like the Department of Education gave him a script.
No gun, no problem.
