ted cruz is not at 5%. I don’t know how much more ridiculous these poll numbers are; don’t have to look any further than that.

Cruz is from 4% to 9% in the last assortment of six polls at Real Clear Politics. Average of 5.7%.

You're right. All the other polls have Cruz at 4%.

In Nov 2012 in bright red Texas, Cruz got less votes and lower percentage of the vote than Mediocre Mitt. To me that’s not an indicator of huge voter appeal.

Realizing the guy is young and will potentially improve.

Actually, with the vote so spread out, 5% is probably generous and equal for all of the 2nd tier that have less than 10%. Got to think after the first debate that there will be some winnowing of the field. Instead of top ten, they should have said okay to anyone over 10% in the average. I hate to see the debate time wasted on the likes of Carson, Huckleberry, and Paul.

That’s a 25% gain so it is really good if you look at the rate of increase.

“ted cruz is not at 5%. I don’t know how much more ridiculous these poll numbers are; don’t have to look any further than that.”

Outside of the literate “concerned” voter not many know Ted Cruz exists.

Well, Trump hurts Cruz the most. He is taking the anti-Bush, anti-establishment vote.

My pet conspiracy theory is that Trump wants Hillary or Bush to win, so he is in the race to take the anti-Bush vote in the primaries.

You heard it here first! ;-)
