A man with a gun.

Doesn’t matter what I (or anyone else) thinks, the Constitution says they can.

I’m even against the question: “Should people be ALLOWED. . .?”. . .There is no authority amongst the powers of the earth TO allow. ..it is our endowed right. .secured by the Constitution. .CASE CLOSED. (and I’ve never even owned a gun. .)

It all depends on WHO has the gun....I used to carry one, legally, and knew that IF I drew my guy, I was going to use it....some people may not have that control...

I reckon its better that people carry as opposed to some other critter.

The person who taught my CCW class was against open carry as the weapon could be a target for someone who could attempt to disarm you.

Makes sense to me. Concealed carry, best way to go.

Can’t they just leave the responses at “Yes” or “No”? Do they always have to add things such as “the Constitution guarantees it” as if that mattered?

The answer would be “YES” whether the Constitution guaranteed it or not.

“Do you think people should be allowed to carry guns in public?”

This is an old poll.

It was asked by the Founding Fathers back in the late 1700’s.

Nearly 100% answered “Of Course!” and gave ye pollster and odd look and asked what he was smoking...

Doesn't matter what the Constitution says either, our Creator has endowed us with the natural right.

Not necessarily. For example, showing your hand in a box canyon can have its consequences, as Custer experienced.

I would much prefer to keep them wondering. It also beats being the first target, able then to save no one.
