Boner and his liberal travelers in the GOP are afraid that eventually enough conservatives say enough of this treasonous crap and force another vote for speaker where he will have to rely on democrat votes to retain power.
Sure there will be some GOP groupies that would never forgo their servitude to their beloved Party but many would see this and have to question why Boner needs and sadly gets democrat votes to support his speakership.
