That Microsoft won't copy your data just because you unchecked that box. It wouldn't be the first time they ignored configuration controls.
Since I wouldn’t know and can’t do much about it if they did, I’ll take their word for it that they won’t. The alternative is to kvetch about something that may be only in my head. And, to tell you the truth, in the larger scheme of things, there are bigger things to get agitated over.
