I bet Roosevelt didn’t have his hunting contractor lure a poor dumb animal past protective boundaries he could not have understood so that he could puncture his body painfully with a bad shot with arrows and leave that poor animal to suffer for 40 hours until they could finish them off with a gun. For this, I’d like to introduce micro-genital Palmer to Mr. Louisville Slugger. Palmer is a hunter like slaughterhouse workers are hunters. They both work with canned game.
At least one of his contractors did worse than that.
It was a media sensation when Teddy refused to shoot a bear one of them had tied to a tree for him.
Surely that contractor had done similar things, just less obviously.
And you have information that the hunter-dentist requested such behavior?
Baiting is used regularly in all hunting.
If a lion wonders out of a protected area to get the bait, then it’s fair game.
Baiting is not illegal.
Hunting is not illegal.
Sending it to a taxidermist for mounting is not illegal either.
I fail to see what the issue here is.
