Most NYers sat out the election - who were they going to vote for? Weiner? Christine Quinn? But, on the other hand, these teachers probably DID vote for Kaiser Wilhelm who made no secret that he was going to get rid of Broken Windows. I just walked by Cooper Union this weekend. Beautiful building.
I may be wrong but I think Quinn would have been more concerned with the quality of life issues than the disaster that currently sits in Gracie Mansion.
