DALLAS (Reuters) - A Texas Christian University (TCU) student has been disciplined after posting online comments seen as racially offensive about current events, including rioting in Baltimore and the rise of the Islamic State, TCU officials said on Friday.
TCU said Harry Vincent, a 19-year-old sophomore, violated two Student Code of Conduct provisions concerning "infliction of bodily or emotional harm" and "disorderly conduct." He has seen his campus access restricted by receiving a one-year suspension from extra-curricular activities, on-campus living and the use of non-academic facilities such as the cafeteria and recreational center.
Among the comments are a Facebook post that reads: "These hoodrat criminals in Baltimore need to be shipped off and exiled to the sahara desert. Maybe then they'll realize how much we provide for them (welfare, college tuition, obama's phone's, medicare, etc.)."
The comments were compiled by a childhood acquaintance from his native Maryland, posted on Tumblr with his social media handles and brought to the attention of the school...

Thoughcrime is alive today and quickly and ruthlessly enforced in America's schools, corporations, government agencies, and everywhere, though it is known by another name: Political Incorrectness. TCU's thoughtpol have enforced thoughtcrime against 19 year old Harry Vincent. What is his great thoughtcrime? Outrage at the "hoodrats" who were given space to destroy Baltimore, Maryland. Vincent committed the greatest of crimes in today's cultural Marxist experiment known as the United States of America.
There can be no disagreement with political correctness as defined by "the party" in the USA. The prevailing politically correct Zeitgeist of thought and behavior forces Americans to live a lie by denying reality. Fear of thoughtcrime prosecution compels cognitive dissonance. If reality contradicts the "the party", it must be eradicated for PC is truth.
What can save us from this new totalitarian system? Perhaps only believing the words Jesus spoke to Pontius Pilate...John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
The Rainbow Palace Gestapo is watching you.
I bet it would be easy to find threats from lefties on campus
TCU put out a statement that reads, “TCU expects its students to behave in a manner consistent with being submissive, a willing victim, accepting of reverse discrimination including violence, and allowing their nation to be over-run by people in the global community who hate them and their ancestors back ten generations.” in so many words.
TCU, expletive deleted you!
He posted, speaking for half the nation. And his friend RATTED on him?? That’s extra disgusting.
1984 becomes more and more reality with each passing day.
The Dentist who killed the Lion was just this weeks’ recipient of the “Two Minutes Hate.”
“The comments were compiled by a childhood acquaintance from his native Maryland, posted on Tumblr with his social media handles and brought to the attention of the school...”
Much like the Hitler youth snitched on their friends and family.
He is this week’s “Emmanuel Goldstein”
Yes, it's ironic. It's so blatant! But I don't suppose these kids have ever read 1984. I can see the barrier. It would be like reading 1944 ... whatever!
Was there a list of approved words? Hope this student gets a good lawyer
Very Good!

1. Name the snitch, shine brightly upon that one, dig deep, expose.
2. Crowd fund the kid for a good, costly counterattack on that school.
The suspension comes after a non-student, using the name Kelsey and apparently living in Maryland, created a post on her Tumblr page containing screenshots of a selection of Vincents posts. Kelsey labeled Vincents commentary racist and disgusting and asked readers to contact TCU to report his speech.
Looks like a good freedom of speech case to me.
Maybe when enough of these school tyrants are forced to pay the plaintiff damages for violating their basic civil rights then schools will stop this nonsense.
