Sarah Palin on Donald Trump: ‘Thank God That He’s Running’
Breitbart ^ | 3 Aug 2015 | Michelle Moons

Posted on 08/03/2015 11:33:22 PM PDT by Red Steel

What started it all? Trump had simply said he would “love” to have former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin serve in an “official capacity” in the event of a Trump Presidency and this week the Governor herself joined the radio program.

Trump’s praise for Palin made its way across national and international media and entertainment outlets including CNN, Fox, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, Fortune, Time, Washington Times, Washington Post, New York Daily News, local outlets, TMZ, E! and Cosmopolitan to name some as the comments went viral.

“I absolutely respected even more his boldness for being so candid about his opinion of me,” Palin said of Trump’s candidacy and comments as someone who says she does know Trump well.

She said Trump is “calling it like it is” as he is “not a politician.”

He’s gonna tell the truth and not couch all of his answers with some poll-tested, kind of namby pamby, vanilla flavored answer to anything. He’s going to be candid and he’s going to be candid and tell you what he thinks, what his solutions are and that’s so refreshing in politics.

He’s bringing issues that need to be talked about to the forefront of national debate Palin said.

“You’re never going to find a perfect candidate,” Palin told Scholla and ...

I thank God that he’s running. He’s stirring it up. He’s coaching, he’s educating the other candidates, letting them know this is how you tap into the good part of a populist movement, these are the issues that the people are talking about, jobs, industry, the competition for our jobs via illegal aliens coming over open borders. All those things that Donald Trump has taken on, well the other candidates now, they have to step up their game.

I’m still waiting to see whether Sarah steps back into consideration.

Though I am starting to believe, she might just re-enter public life as a member of Donald’s staff, perhaps even his vice-president.

Let’s see how the first debate goes, then we’ll have a clearer picture of things.

I believe Trump and Palin could work together in some form or fashion.

The team would compliment each other rather than tear each other apart resulting in building America back up exponentially like Obama tore it down in reverse order.

This is what we need in a team but CRUZ is still my pick for President and Palin would compliment that team as well.

Trump is no conservative. Cruz is the only one running. Sure wish Sarah would back him. Trump is just another Perot. Going to elect Hillary.

The best thing a President Trump can do, after naming his cabinet, is call them together and announce: “This is the purple book (of political appointments). I will NOT nominate anyone for half these jobs. Come back in 3 days with your list of cuts.”

My choices for cabinet:
State - John Bolton
Treasury - Steve Forbes
Defense - Colonel Allen West
Attorney General - Andrew Napolitano
Interior - Ted Nugent
Agriculture - merge into Commerce
Commerce - Sarah Palin; eliminate waste and overlap
Labor - merge into Commerce
HHS - Carly Fiorina
HUD - eliminate
Transportation - merge into Commerce
Energy - eliminate
Education - eliminate
Veteran Affairs - Gary Sinise
DHS - Rudy Guilani
CIA & NSC - Colonel Oliver North
Press Secretary - Ann Coulter

I like your list but I think Palin would be a better fit for interior.

I have that same feeling. The trump supporters around here really rip in to me about it to. Trump is still pro choice, pro amnesty and from what I have seen anti gun.

While he is saying the right things, its the things he’s not talking about that worry me. I suspect as things progress those issues will be brought out and will take some of the wind out of his sails.

Sarah in Trump’s Cabinet, yes. As Veep? No. Cruz and Cruz only, for Veep. I’d want Cruz right there, ready to step up to POTUS after Trump.

” I’m wondering if all the Trump “haters” here on FR now hate Sarah also. “

A Trump hater is not only a Palin hater, but a Cruz hater. When they make Trump out as the Antichrist, by association they make Cruz standing with Trump as a bad judge of character and easily duped, or a liar, or a prostitute for political advantage.

Which they would deny immediately, because Cruz is a conservative icon, and this is a conservative site. But when they attack Trump’s character, they also invalidate Cruz’ character and good judgement. IMO a veteran debater who has wrestled with the worst UniLiberal slime in DC has seen every subterfuge and false flag that leftist minds can conceive, and Cruz is utterly WORTHY of my trust.

Anti-Trump, anti-Cruz trolls disagree with this assessment. It’s one thing to choose another foxhole, but quite another to hang beyond the wire at night and yell “Hey GI”.

Not trying to be inflammatory, just laying down the math. If I wanted to be inflammatory I would call it Bergdahl Syndrome. Catchy but less than accurate.

It is clear that Trump is taking votes from all candidates

He's supported by (at least) 20% of Democrats.

If that's true, and if it holds, he will easily beat both Bush and Clinton.

And flushing the Uniparty turd that is choking our system is EXACTLY what we need.

One thing I like about Trump, though he’s arrogant like Obama, Trump is not ashamed of being white.

“One thing I like about Trump, though he’s arrogant like Obama, Trump is not ashamed of being white.”

Trump has something else Obama lacks. He actually accomplished things.

Obama has had everything handed to him on a platter.

Trump has reason for arrogance. Obama was raised to feel entitled to arrogance.

A Trump hater is not only a Palin hater, but a Cruz hater.

And you gleaned all this wisdom after being a member here less than a month...amazing.

True, every word!

Two things I like about Trump, he's not ashamed of being white and he's actually organized, and paid, a community of working people. He's a real community organizer.

“A Trump hater is not only a Palin hater, but a Cruz hater. “

...not sufficiently supported. newby needs to try again...I’m open to being proven wrong, but just looks fallacy ridden to me.
