My guess is that Trump would hire the very best advisors to handle the military. All of Obama’s people would be gone in the first year. He might have to bring back some officers who retired rather than work under Obama, but he would get the job done.

A good manager knows when to delegate and to whom to delegate.

Cruz and Trump came out with a joint announcement about defunding PP, today.

I cried the night Obama was elected. I know what an urban Democrat can do to a city can be magnified to a nation. Obama’s done that.

I will never understand why Trump appeals to anyone that considers themselves a conservative. He speaks bluntly and reasonably about immigration, but he’s a lifelong Democrat. He’s to the Left of Giuliani.

How much has Trump donated or how hard has he worked to end abortion, preserve marriage, or restore our rights? If it was well and truly a real change over time, I wouldn’t feel that way - after all, Reagan started as a Democrat. It’s just too convenient for Trump.

But a man who supported Obama twice (especially at Trump’s age) isn’t having some sort of conservative awakening, and if conservatives are foolish enough to elect him, they’re going to get exactly what they deserve.

There are many people in the GOP field that I would vote for if they got the nomination, even if I’m skeptical about them. Trump is not one of them.

“Perfect is the enemy of good enough”.

Trump is an established leader and manager. He is forceful and effective.

I will also vote for any of the Republican candidates except Jeb or Lindsey.

If you keep waiting until we get the “perfect conservative”, we’ll get more Obamas and you can cry some more.

We agree on everything, except that Trump’s not a conservative. He’s a donkey kicking in the elephant tent. Once it collapses there’s only the donkey tent left.
