You’re arguing for Trump just the way everyone else does when confronted with the truth about him. You say, “Well, he’s no worse than Republicans/Obama/Hillary” or whatever. You do realize that’s no argument at all, right?
No personal offense to you or your wife, but if someone can’t find any interest in the most solid Constitutional conservative since Reagan-—possibly even better than Reagan-—but is swayed by some reality-show celebrity, well...I don’t find that a positive development. At all.
If you don’t think there’s worshipping going on, you should get out and around the forum more. I’ve heard it said there’s no future without Trump, he’s the savior of the nation, etc.
If Ted Cruz ascends, it will be through his own merits and his history of fighting for the Constitution. No bloviating celebrity will own the credit.

Others here who go after Trump use the word “Trumper” when referring to his Supporter, which I think is hilarious. (Thumper the Rabbit comes to mind).
It is quite Generic on many Trump Threads and I don’t think I said you actually called me one.
You accused me and others of Worshipping at his Altar, which I find an interesting choice of words. If others were offended by that comment, I’m sure you will hear from them as well. It seems that people are trying to tie the Obama Worshipper term used on this Site all the time to Trump. Apples and Oranges IMHO.

I think that The Jebster is a Big Government RINO without a Conservative Bone in his body. I don’t see Trump the same way. I guess Frontrunner Status changes the Target.
The irony is, we have 15 Months to go and anything can happen.
Heck, it might just explode on Thursday, who knows? Chris Wallace is sharpening his long Knife while we speak and he is out for some Trump Blood, he has admitted Trump is his primary Target.
I am a Cruz supporter and if takes Donald to help elevate his role in the next Administration, I’m all for it. I was not making a dig at either him of Fiorina.
If Cruz can climb up on his own rather than being stuck at 4% I would be thrilled, but even Cruz is aligning himself with many of Trumps announced Positions. I’m sure that is no accident on Cruz’s part.
Again, let’s just agree to disagree. Elevating this between the two of us does nothing to change minds one way or the other. Thanks.
