Gov. Scott Walker’s Big Opportunity to Defund Planned Parenthood

From day one of his administration, Gov. Scott Walker (R) has demonstrated a commitment to stewarding taxpayer dollars in a way that prevents them from providing support to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. As a presidential candidate touring the nation, Walker has used his campaign to call for the federal defunding of Planned Parenthood amidst a national debate over the organization’s morally perverse ethics, revealed in shocking videos.

In his very first budget, Walker eliminated Title V funding for Planned Parenthood. Title V is a federal block grant that requires matching state contributions for a joint state-federal funding of maternal and child health programs. For years, Planned Parenthood’s Wisconsin affiliate received millions of taxpayer dollars through the Title V program.

Walker’s decision to deny Planned Parenthood Title V funds earned him the condemnation of Cecile Richards, the national leader of Planned Parenthood. “It is outrageous that Governor Walker would take away health care away from thousands of women and families in Wisconsin,” Richards declared after the cuts went into effect........

On Monday, a spokesperson for Walker’s gubernatorial office told Newsweek that the governor, “supports additional changes to Wisconsin law to restrict federal funds that flow to Planned Parenthood as well.”........

It’s not going to be defunded.

But thanks for treating me like I’m stupid. :)

Granted yes, Planned Parenthood still is in Wisconsin, but at least not at local tax dollar expense!

Here’s to Walker stepping up the ladder! One of few in the running who have done things, instead of just spoken about things, in a conservative manner.

Those who would rather see Planned Parenthood continuing to get funding will present bizarre and fallacious arguments against Walker.

Hillary Defends Planned Parenthood, Attacks Scott Walker and Jeb Bush

"Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (and prominent Planned Parenthood political donation recipient) released a new campaign ad defending the abortion corporation in the wake of the explosive undercover video investigation conducted by the Center for Medical Progress.

“If this feels like a full-on assault of women’s health, that’s because it is,” she explains in the video.

Clinton then attacks Scott Walker for defunding Planned Parenthood in Wisconsin. She also attacks Jeb Bush for cutting family planning programs and Rick Perry for signing restrictions on abortion clinics...."

It is almost unbelievable that Planned Parenthood receives over $500,000,000 in taxpayer dollars and turns around and donates millions to pro-abortion candidates. No wonder that Democrats won't vote to de-fund PP.

That’s why he’s the only politician I’d vote for in the Rino party. I like Cruz and I probably would vote for him when it came down to it, but he got rolled recently on the TPP even when everyone was telling him it’s BS. So it makes me think he wants the power the TPP would give him if he was elected prez.

Walker has a proven track record against big liberal agenda and not backing down.

I see you do not think for yourself.

All those reasons have been debunked as juvenile or total lies.

The FACT remains that Walker implemented conservatism at every turn in Wisconsin and he will do the same in Washington DC.

women’s health? That’s what crazy looks like. Half or more of the babies killed are female. How is that healthy for them?
