Ed Klein: Hillary Racing to Stave Off Indictment
Newsmax ^ | August 4, 2015 | Cathy Burke

Posted on 08/05/2015 7:25:01 AM PDT by Hojczyk

President Barack Obama and those closest to him are "doing everything they can" to encourage Vice President Joe Biden to challenge Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination, former New York Times Magazine editor-in-chief Edward Klein tells Newsmax TV.

In a panel discussion Tuesday on "Newsmax Prime" with host J.D. Hayworth and Miranda Khan, the author of "Blood Feud: The Clintons vs. The Obamas," said the push is coming from the president, First Lady Michelle Obama and Obama's senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett.

"[They] are doing everything they can at this point to encourage Joe Biden to throw in his hat," he said.

Klein said he also believes Clinton is in "a kind of race against time."

"Which is going to come first, is she going to be able to sew up the nomination by just throwing more money, more organization at the primaries so that she is unbeatable – or will a criminal indictment come down from the Justice Department [over her personal email system while Secretary of State] before that fact?" Klein said.

"And they're very concerned about which is going to come first."

Political commentator Dick Morris said if a possible Biden candidacy doesn't signal any animosity between the Obama and Clinton camps, "there sure will be if Biden runs, because the inevitable dynamos of the race are going to cause it, even if nobody wants it."

"You can only have one candidate out there saying everything Obama's doing is right…. I'll just continue what Obama's doing," he said. "You can't have two candidates saying that because the other one won't get covered and Biden lives on campus. These are his programs as well as Obama's."

The only real question is, "How much is it going to cost her to stave off indictment?"

But first, will Bernie dare to “go there?” and raise the question...if he wins Iowa and/or NH..he just might...then all bets are off..

“will a criminal indictment come down from the Justice Department”

Ha! You mean the Obama-controlled Justice Department? The one that has cleared his administration of all wrong-doing, every single time there has been a scandal?

Not bloody likely!

The hit squads are out!

When I was signing into my Comcast/Xfinity email this morning, even they had the headline "FBI Probes Clinton's Email Security" at the top of their NBC news section. It was accompanied by a very unflattering photo of her thighness (not that there could be any other), but the photo currently there is of one that's less disturbing to the eye. Obviously, one of the Klintoons must have complained.

But, when you lose Comcast & NBC, it's time to stick a fork in ya!

Joe is there to scare off Hillary before an indictment.

Valerie Obama's candidate is Squaw Warren.

I’ll believe it when it happens.

If Hillary is indicted, it will mean civil war in the Democrat party. Clintons against Obamas. The criminal Left against the crazy Left.

Popcorn anyone?

The criminal indictment only comes down if Obama/Valjar order the DOJ to proceed. That determination will be subject to secret negotiations that won’t see the light of day for a decade or more.

Dear Hillary,

If they take you down, after all you have done, it is yur obligation to make them pay. Make them pay! Unload all the stuff you held back on. Use all of your double agents and back door channels to for retribution against the traitors and backstabbers.

It will be worth it.

So, since shillary is not holding any official office in our government, doesn’t that mean she is an ‘everyday’ off the street person?

Since when does our government say she can’t be indicted for anything while running for public office?

You can bet if this was Trump, he would have been kicked out long before now...

Indictment first or second? An indictment is all that matters.

Agreed. Obama and Jarrett might so order the DOJ, however. For one thing, Obama dislikes Hillary. Secondly, his favorite MO is to backstab in such a way that his fingerprints are nowhere near the k n i f e. Third, the Malignant Narcissist in him likes to humiliate the people he doesn’t like. If Hillary were indicted, he’d have something to watch on tv as interesting as ESPN.

Lastly, his term is about up. A Hillary indictment could not, therefore, hurt him politically. If it hurts the Dem Party in general, that’s nothing to him. Like any hardcore narcissist, he cares only about himself.

For once, there is something really inevitable about Hillary.
