Since our major news networks suck at honest and competent reporting, let me add a couple “markers” to look for re the “Who” and “Why” of the protestors.
Look for protest signs well made, usually in three sets of colors: Black print on Orange” Black Print on White; and “Black Print on Yellow”.
These are USUALLY the signs of the Stalinist “Workers World Party”, its’ youth arm, and various protest fronts. Some used to be called the “All-Peoples’ Congress” (APC - I think it still appears in the Baltimore riots), but now it has names referring to Ferguson, Black Lives, etc.
The “BlackLivesMatter” group appears to be a somewhat local manifestation but there have been reports which need to be discussed if true/for accuracy, that George Soros and his Marxist organizations/foundations are funding BLM.
This is purely a “black racist” organization, much like “LA RAZA” is a purely Hispanic/Mexican racist organization.
Calling Cornel West a protestor is like calling Karl Marx an economist. He’s a red, a commie, a Marxist, a key member of the Marxist “Democratic Socialists of America” (DSA), the key red backer of Obama during his election/reelection campaigns, and even back in his Illinois political career.
When is a TV commentator going to ask why the protests don’t say “Pants Up” instead of “Hands Up”?
Let’s have some statistics about how many out-of-town protestors were arrested last time in Ferguson (I’ve seen some breakdowns but not enough of them), as well as how many out-of-town license plates were seen during the last Ferguson riots.
This is important as veteran police intelligence officers always try to photograph both known and suspected outside agitators and provocateurs when they come into a potentially volatile situation.
Having covered riots and demonstrations since 1970, I know a little something of what to look for (such as whose publications and fliers are given out or posted at protest sites).
Also, are protestors interviewed ever asked about any ideological affiliations, not political (i.e. Dem or GOP) affiliations? If not, the reporters are NOT doing their job of telling you something about the “WHO” at and often behind the violence.
After over nearly 50 years in journalism, from the riots of DC to Vietnam, I’m tired of the perpetual journalistic misconduct, amateurism, and bias that I see on most news stations/channels every day.
I think Donald Trump is on to something and the American people are beginning to listen. That is what the liberals and Republican careerists fear, an informed public who will rise up and throw them out on their asses, without opening the door.
