As Donald Trump continues to overwhelm media coverage of the Republican presidential primary and threatens to defy traditional political logic by remaining atop the polls, rival GOP campaigns are beginning to diverge on how to handle him.
Some campaign teams are downright flabbergasted by his endurance. Others are privately unsure on what it will take for him to ultimately implode. But what's abundantly clear is that all are burning time wrestling with how exactly to deal with The Donald on a day-to-day basis.
Scott Walker, for his part, is determined to keep calm. Real estate tycoon Donald Trump participates in the Republican presidential primary debate on Aug. 6, 2015 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
After a steady if not splashy debate performance last week, the second-term Wisconsin governor said he had no interest in going after his fellow Republican rivals, even as the 2016 campaign moves into a more intense phase.
"To me, the real focus needs to be on the fall of 2016," he told reporters at a Friday campaign stop in Cleveland. "We're going to talk about how we match up best against Hillary Clinton going forward."

Where's Norm?
Only Ted Cruz truly knows how to handle this.
That’s an affirmative.
Oh Vet, not even you?
Common man, what say you?
Is the B team soon to be forgotten?
Perhaps I’m wrong, do you think Ted Cruz told Donald during their “secret” meeting about the establishment ruthlessness?
I didn’t grok any of that. Seriously.
Don Trump is 69 years old and has dealt with the establishment since before Ted Cruz was born.
And he is handling it like a pro.
Everyone else is falling all over each other trying to be the biggest Trump basher.
But Trump bites back and he has 10 billion ways to sink your ship.
I don’t know what “grok” means.
“If you can keep your wits about you while all others are losing theirs, and blaming you. The world will be yours and everything in it, what’s more, you’ll be a man, my son.”
-Rudyard Kipling
I never thought about that. I'll bet he told him every little dirty secret about what he's learned so far...
I think it was just that.
Cruz trying to warn Trump.
It's FILTHY dirty.
Ha...Trump is inside their OODA Loop.
Can’t grok grok? Way problematic in the cause of Personal Liberty. I knew in the 5th grade. You have a reading list for this summer. Google.
Yep, the LSM/GOPee are pretty slow, both in time and intelligence.
I’m watching to see who understands that Trump is not their enemy. GOPe is the enemy. The DNC is the enemy. Soros is the enemy. ISIS is the enemy. Iran is the enemy. The marxists are the enemy. Trump is the wild-eyed warrior wading into the midst of them and drawing all their fire and clearing a path for everyone else. He’s not the enemy. Unless you are GOPe or any of the rest of them.
Cruz and a couple of the others get it. The rest are shouting “teacher! teacher!” and thinking its getting them somewhere.
Agree with Walker. Cruz said the same too.
OK, I get it now. Thank you for embarrassing me to look it up.
I'm OK with being dumb as I've been that all my life.
So was Goldwater.
Here we are again.
