Not sure that the writer has the savvy to understand the difference between a “problem” and a solution. He is probably just trying to sound relevant. But if you have to try, you probably do not have what it takes.
Let me coreect that article.
It is not the Republicans who think Trump cannot win the WH...it is the GOPe who think he cannot win the WH.
Sounds like your party must have been real boring to begin with.
Good.
The eGOP is crapping their pants. If Trump becomes the candidates he will clean house and they will lose their jobs!
Now may be the moment to hand it over to these movement conservatives, to let Trump go down like Barry Goldwater in 1964, then build a new political party for a new electorate, in which millennials have just demographically surpassed baby boomers, and politics is learning to look beyond the representation of rich white men. ............................ There will always be white rich men in the background supporting other rich men. Its rare that one so rich would take on the establishment. Yes he could be another Barry Goldwater, but he may end up as another Ronald Reagan, and that worries the left. They seem to be OK with the old “poor” white woman now on the Democrat Ticket, which I am sure the Millennials are so excited over.
This article validates my belief that the “party” is all about the party, and not preserving our culture, defending or Constitution or observing voter mandates.
More truth can be found when the article talks of Trump threatening their fortunes. Yes, when big business puts forth money to keep the cheap labor that has illegally flowed into the country, their fortunes are in danger.
And to refer to Sarah as a rogue defines the GOP as anti-American as the Rats.
You can only take people for granted for so long, and then they get tired of it. The GOP establishment has had sufficient warning, but ignored it, even laughed at it. They aren’t laughing now.
The unasked question remains: why would they want to?
Does anyone care about the Republican Party? I hate the Republican Party because it stands for its own survival more than what’s good for America. In doing so, it has become the Republocrat Party, Leftist and ugly.
I’m so glad someone like Trump has come along who couldn’t care less about the stupid Republocrat Party which has betrayed our country for thirty pieces of political silver.
I also credit Cruz and even Paul for standing apart from party politics. But Trump stands out in high definition contrast as the anti-politician, anti-Republocrat, anti-politically-correct candidate that cares only for America. Last one of those we had was Reagan who the Republocrats also didn’t like. Tells you a lot about the RepublocRAT Party.
Those of us who loathe and despise the politically correct Republocrat Party and want to see a free and strong America again love it not unlike how we loved seeing Reagan go against the conventional political wisdom of his day. They didn’t get Reagan and they don’t get Trump, but those of us who love America do.
Who is "U.S. Republicans"? Sheldon Adelson? The Koch Brothers? Certainly not the average GOP voter. Do those still count?
