Hell. The flag is a symbol of a deeper root cause. Let’s get rid of that root cause — an organization that has obtained and maintained power through inciting race hatred and racial violence. We all know what we’re talking about — the Democratic Party. It, more than the flag, is why blacks have suffered in America. Its time to banish the Democratic Party and anyone associated with it from American politics just like the Nazis and Baathists were banned.

Newsweek’s Price Tag: $1

NY TIMES October 7, 2010

So just how much did Sidney Harman pay for Newsweek?

The bargain-basement price of $1.

The Washington Post Company, which revealed the price tag in a regulatory filing, also agreed to cover up to $10 million of Newsweek’s existing bills, The Associated Press reported. And it will hold on to certain employee pension liabilities, although it did not spell out a dollar figure in Wednesday’s filing.

No one had thought that Mr. Harman, a 91-year-old stereo equipment magnate, paid much for Newsweek, which lost almost $30 million last year amid circulation and advertising declines.

But the magazine’s sale for less than its $5.95-per-issue price on newsstands is still a grim milestone for a brand that was once a prized asset at The Post Company, which bought Newsweek in 1961.

The filing comes as speculation builds that Newsweek may now merge with The Daily Beast, a news and opinion site owned by Barry Diller’s media conglomerate, IAC/InterActiveCorp, and run by Tina Brown, the former New Yorker editor.

In a piece marking The Daily Beast’s second anniversary on Wednesday, Ms. Brown answered the buzz about a deal with Newsweek by saying: “Yes, there have been some interesting discussions going on, as we have with potential partners large and small all the time.”

Like I said after they take down the Confederate Flag, eventually they will go after the American Flag.

It memorializes Americans as the preeminent victims of the Vietnam War, a notion seared into the nation’s visual unconscious by the Oscar-nominated 1978 film The Deer Hunter, which depicts acts of sadism, which were documented to have been carried out by our South Vietnamese allies, as acts committed by our North Vietnamese enemies, including the famous scene pictured on The Deer Hunter poster: a pistol pointed at the American prisoner’s head at exactly the same angle of the gun in the famous photograph of the summary execution in the middle of the street of an alleged Communist spy by a South Vietnamese official."

These propagandists in the American media are becoming more than insufferable. The "alleged communist spy" executed by Nguyen Loc Loan was in fact a Viet Cong officer who only moments before the picture was taken had murdered his family. The photographer, who got a Pulitzer for that picture, often publicly lamented the way it picture was used for propaganda.

Sometimes even I'm a little shocked at intensity of my hatred for these American leftist bastards.
