Thisis what I’ve been saying - flexibility. You also can’t lay out all your plans for the enemy to have foreknowledge of. People want him to give a 12 point step on everything and that’s just plain stupid. Just like McConnell said right after the 2014 election - he said there would be no impeachment or shutting down the government. He gave it away and hasn’t deterred from that stance.
I’m glad I’ve seen a few episodes of the apprentice. It gives you a feel of how he operates. I liked that he always asked his guests questions about their “mission”...how did you....why did you....

Where do you want to go
How will you get there
In what timeframe
What will success look like and how you you measure and sustain it.
Then how much will it cost..
Thats the essence of strategic planning minus all the fancy buzzwords
