Bullshit. There is NOTHING to be happy about in the world of politics. We love our country, and those who betrayed her -- in both parties -- must be torn down as were the statues of Lenin and Saddam. Anger is how this happens.

We need to be fighting mad, there’s nothing to be happy about where this country is and where it’s heading.
Yes, Erickson neglects to recognize the motivating power of anger. Anger gets people to write letters, make phone calls, get off their butts and vote, go to the townhalls and shout down their reps, etc. “Happiness” gets people to do none of those things, because happy people are complacent people.
