Immigrants legal and illegal are transforming the USA as they vote for the most liberal and leftist causes and politicians (See California going from a conservative state to a liberal state now).
It doesn't matter if there are good immigrants or engineers from India or whatever. They still vote for socialism .And socialism hurts everyone .So why bring them in? Do you you wall want a socialist state where they will take all your wealth and freedom?
