Sorry, dredging up something Trump said 20 years ago isn’t going to increase support for Cruz.
Nothing will change the fact Trump leads on immigration and Cruz opportunistically follows. Cruz has been in the Senate over two years yet he only wrote Kate’s Law after Trump engaged the issue.
You believe that Trump is more conservative than Cruz? Or is it just Trump’s stated stance on immigration that has you convinced that Trump is your guy?
I’m really not trying to be a snot. Just not understanding how Trump can be defined as a Conservative.

Trump said three weeks ago that many of his positions are those of a Democrat, and he is proving that now. But I was told by a Trump supporter that three weeks is ancient history, LOL, so you folks don’t want to hear that, either.
There will likely be some Trump fans who will digest what we post, make reasoned decisions, and quietly withdraw their support of the man. What will ultimately change the big picture will be-—among other things——Cruz’s seriousness. He’s laying his ground game in all the states and he’s in this to win.
BTW, your dismissal of him as ineffective is rooted in pure ignorance. He’s been fighting the entire GOPe—usually alone-—while Trump was filming his reality show and railing on Twitter about kicking someone’s a@##.
You might want to google “Medellin vs. Texas.” Then you’ll learn how Cruz, as Texas Solicitor General, obtained justice for two girls who were raped, sodomized, tortured, and horribly murdered....and he faced down George W. Bush and the federal government to do it.
As for Trump’s immigration plan, have you heard that he’s already contradicting it? He wants foreigners to be able to stay in the country if they come here to go to school. He said if they come here to go to our great schools, they should not be thrown out!
Face it. Trump is a liberal trying to speak conservative, and he can only do it for so long without blowing the game.
