Although it was unclear, she captured video of divers in the water with wetsuits and what looked like rebreathers. The time on the video was clearly before the coast guard rescue boat arrived.

The Cessna Caravan 208B turboprop ditched off the coast of Kalaupapa, Molokai, Hawaii on December 11, 2013. The Makani Kai Air Charters flight had departed Molokai en route to Honolulu with eight passengers and one pilot on board.

Fuddy's plane landed in the ocean about 3:30 pm within sight of the airport and so close a 70 something year old man swan ashore.

The zinger is the airport was closed and supposedly no employees were around to see the mayor of the island off safely. There was no one manning the radio. No employees at the ticket desk. No employees at the snack bar. No employees at the flower shop to give the mayor a lei. No janitorial staff. No maintenance staff. There supposedly wasn't even a volunteer hanging out at the fire station next door. There wasn't anyone who had driven the passengers to the airport still hanging around. Mark Miller, of the leprosy colony, who drove her to the airport didn't hang around either.
