You’re insight into Trump’s psyche, and knowledge of what has and hasn’t concerned him throughout his life is impressive. But I’ll play along and assume you’re right, that up until recently, issues such as illegal immigration, and national defence have not been big concerns of his. And?
Would that imply the concern he is expressing now is insincere? Of course not. He has spent his career up until now, being a businessman, and a successful one at that. That’s where his main focus has been. So you’re making the point that his interest in politics is not to be trusted because you’ve determined that it’s impossible for a man of Trump’s background to develop an interest in politics at this stage in his life? Your arrogance is staggering, and misplaced.
Trump is framing the media and re-inforcing the notion that the drive-by media are Entertainment entities, not credible sources of News.
