I get that...I’m just pretty sure you’re over shooting it a bit.
But I do get it, and I have enjoyed the chat.
Gov. Walker is to be applauded for his actions regarding RTW in Wisconsin. The unions trashed the Statehouse. Picketed Walker's private residence. Disrupted the Assembly. And generally embarrassed themselves.
Woohoo, go Walker!!!! Love that man.... so much that we’ve been yearning to see done for our country he is successfully doing in Wisconsin. He would be so good for America if he were in the White House.
My husband and I have speculated that one of Obama’s purposes has been to prepare and soften up the left for the last days and the eventual appearance of the AntiChrist. You know...to get them ready to be able to fall under the spell of a human being, to shower said person with an almost religious adoration and to follow them unquestioningly, no matter what. That’s what we saw from the Obamabots of 2008.
I’ve shown my husband some of these posts from Trump supporters. It’s his opinion-—and I share it-—that Trump might possibly serve the same purpose for those on the right who are susceptible to following after personalities.
This kind of lunatic, worshipful spew-—including the post you referenced-—is no different from what we saw in 2008.
After having read the posts in this article, all I have to say is “there are no heroes.”
Follow the ideals and ideas, not the man. The man will disappoint you.
And that's the crux of the issue to me....without a doubt, there is an element of lunatic worship involved. SOTC, Lakeshark and I disagree on how much of it is that...I'd say 80% on FR....they say less...but the main point is that it indeed is there and indeed is Obama bot like. It's breathtaking really.
I have my problems with Trump, but I recognize the value he's brought to our national discussion in a way no one else ever has. But I can't think of anything valuable the bots are bringing. And I quickly add that there are some Trump supporters who acknowledge the problems and have made their bargain in spite of them. I don't agree, but I can respect that kind of support.
One of the reasons I haven’t written Walker off, despite his seeming lack of fire/will to present himself to his full advantage. I’m afraid he might pull a Romney and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory if he’s the last man standing.
I wonder how many potential Trump-supporting lurkers are seeing the adoration and being turned off by it. I would think some are...or at least, in a normal world I would.
I think 80% sounds about right.
I’m pretty hardline against Trump, but even I can see the worth in a lot of what he’s being saying. I admit I laughed when I saw the clip of him putting Ramos away.
Doesn’t mean I want him for Prez, though.
Don't forget the death threats against Walker, his parents, his wife, and his children -- as well as to the GOP legislature.
We don’t want some proven entity. Anybody can do something, but I want a candidate who talks tough!
off topic....I was watching a Frasier re run last night on Netflix...and there was a “Catherine of Aragon” reference used!
OK so say that 20% of the assembly line employees bag the union and drop their membership. What happens to them if the union goes on strike?
I was curious so I looked it up.
My mug got broken, huh? Figures it was mine and not Anne Boleyn’s...
yep, the broken mug....it was a hilarious scene, with Marty complaining that yeah, he broke his Wilma juice glass too....or something like that.
