He loves illegal immigration (”act of love”)and hates conservatives (”win Repub nomination without the base”).

**********************************************************************

All recent past liberal republican nominees have taken the nomination “without the base”. It seems to me that the republican “base” has changed to liberalism, conservatives no longer being the base.

If JEB continues his down slide into oblivion, I’ll consider the old base to be extremely lucky or fortunate.

The scenario I fear is that JEB hangs on, on the fringes of the campaign, while other, more conservative candidates kill each other off. Maybe leaving Trump, Cruz and Carson to split conservative support while he (JEB) walks away with all the “moderate” (liberal) vote and wins the nomination. After all, it’s happened numerous times before.

Lucy’s holding the foot ball again, come on Charley Brown, kick it. I won’t pull it away again.

I’ve seen every republican candidate bashed by one faction on this forum at one time or another. I like Walker but I won’t be slamming Trump, Cruz or Carson. Hillary and Hillary lite rep. candidates are the real enemies.

The splitting of the conservative vote, allowing Jeb to sneak in by a plurality, was a real danger before Trump got in the race.

But Trump has given Jeb such a thrashing, I’m hopeful that Jeb won’t be able to do it.
