A flight stewardess recently refused to serve alcohol due to her religion, Islam.

The clerk will probably be fired but the stewardess will not. That would be discriminatory.

Kentucky should protect it’s people from the illegitimate actions of the USSC.

She might be able to stay out of jail if she resigns, otherwise, she needs to take her toothbrush to court with her.

Kentucky law prohibits marriage between members of the same sex. The U.S. Supreme Court has no constitutional authority, none, to overrule that law. Indeed, it is the Supreme Court that is violating the Constitution.

They should at least let her serve out her term. When she took office she didn’t know she’d have to violate her religious convictions. Next term she can agree to violate her convictions (she won’t) or not seek the office again.

Otherwise, if I were her, I’d make the KSP remove me from office in handcuffs.

(Matthew 10:18) And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

(Matthew 10:19) But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

(Matthew 10:20) For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

And where are the Candidates at to take a stand with her.

Given this is KY and supposed to be a conservative state, she shouldn’t have to worry about being recalled or impeached and therefore rulings have no effect.

Carly already damaged herself. Where’s the Trumpster, the Huckster, Carson, Cruz, or Jebbers? Sadly, I’m thinking Walker will support her, then the Courts, then be undecided, but not necessarily in that order.

Oh, and this is Rand’s state. Where’s Rand?

More courage in this one woman than in all of Versailles on the Potomac. God keep her safe.

Would someone who is Twitter savvy tweet this to Trump?

This woman needs our prayers and our assistance.

She is us.

the homonazis can’t tolerate Freedom. They want to impose they will on all.

Kudos to this woman for saying no. These gays can find another clerk to marry them

Christians should be literally taking up arms to defend this brave and principled woman. But we won’t. Instead we’ll tsk-tsk at the rot that’s eating away at our society and then go watch TV.

We — and I include myself in that lot — are a sorry bunch. And we deserve to be defeated until we have the courage to stand up.

How Laws are Made in Modern America

by PGYanke

Step 1. Identify the social cause you wish to champion.
Step 2. Make a law the prohibits that social cause.
Step 3. Argue your case to the USSC that Step 2 law is unconstitutional.
Step 4. Law is declared unconstitutional by USSC and social cause is now mandatory.

Example 1:

Step 1. Social cause is Gays in the Military.
Step 2. Pass "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
Step 3. Go before court to argue against your own law.
Step 4. "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is unconstitutional according to USSC, so now the military must accept homosexuals.

Example 2:

Step 1. Social cause is Gay Marriage.
Step 2. Pass "Defense of Marriage Act."
Step 3. Go before court to argue against DOMA.
Step 4. USSC says DOMA unconstitutional so now Gay Marriage is the law of the land.

And THAT is how laws are made in modern America. Any questions?

I have a lot of “contempt” for our so called courts these days too. ALL of them. “Judges” are a farce and “lawyers” are all a bunch of buffoons.

Unfortunately, Kim Davis is the problem just as much as the homosexuals are. She’s been divorced three times and had kids with one man while married to another. Her behavior is exactly the kind of activity that led to the zero respect for marriage that then led many people to think that homosexuals marrying was a reasonable thing.

For her to now stand on religious concerns when she’s violated the hell out of the principles of the religion she claims to adhere to only hurts the cause. She’s a screaming hypocrite, not a moral paragon holding back a flood of decadence. She’s every bit as decadent and immoral as the gays are.

If we’ve allowed conscientious objectors to avoid compulsory military service based on their sincerely held beliefs (often religious-based), then why does the same logic not apply to this case?
