“Amnesty” is a dishonest inaccurate way to represent what Dr Carson is saying. Amnesty does not involve following a process as Dr Carson suggests. It does not involve taking a series of specific steps prior to receiving absolution.
The process Dr Carson outlines, places a penalty on the action of coming here illegally, which BTW was facilitated if not condoned by our Government.
Dr Carson said, “And if they want to become citizens they have to get in the line with everyone else… because we have to pay homage to people who’ve done it the right way,” Carson added.”
Again, I repeat, the use of the term “amnesty” is dishonest, inaccurate and intentionally inflammatory. It is in defensible in light of the actual definition of the word when compared to the words of Dr Carson. Game! Set! Match!
Illegal immigrants staying here, taking jobs, and living on welfare as well.
What does it matter if they pay a penalty. Is that going to give jobs to citizens or take illegals off the welfare rolls?
