Exactly.

Bush is a total disaster for the GOPe.

They just flushed $100 million+ down the drain.

I would not be surprised if Romney jumped back in soon to try to save the day for the insiders.

Polls are never actual election, but polls are better than the opinions in one’s neighborhood bar.

Walker is the biggest disappointment this season for me at least.

He was one of my top two picks originally. Now I his name doesn't even come to mind when thinking of the race.

In my opinion this is a three way race between Trump, Cruz, and Bush.

Brit Hume, Krauthammer, George Will, Stephen Hays, Dana Perino, and a lot of other TV pundits go berserk when Trump is mentioned as leading polls.

Not Cruz. He can’t break 8% in almost any poll. I think it’s a matter of time before he throws in with Trump.

Was this the poll that showed Trump and Carson tied a few days ago?

So many polls, it is hard to keep up with them all.

I’m just curious, do you consider Jeb Bush an acceptable candidate?

Remember that at this time in 2011 Michelle Bachman won the Iowa straw poll.

"Brit Hume made a fool of himself on Kelly last night. Even Megyn had to walk him back a bit."

A couple nights ago BOR completely dismissed Rove and his whiteboard showing how Trump was really in last place. It was a little funny. BOR saying that the old conventional wisdom on the subject does not apply to Trump and how campaigns are run now. Fade-out on Rove stuttering away….but Bill, but Bill, LOL !!!!

No. The only poll that showed them tied was one Iowa poll. This is a national poll... Trump has been leading in every one of these for a long time.

The first debate will expose Trump for the “reality” show star that he merely is.

Carson the only one who beats Trump heads-up. Rally ‘round him, amnesty-ers.

Romney's base is Mormons. That was very very clear to me at our caucus (Nevada). The Mormons were turned out en masse, and they ran the show. This is where Romney's base comes from, and this is what we need to fear if Romney jumps in, he will have that 10% to 30% base in every primary, and in a few states (such as Nevada) it is more like 40% to 50%. Romney's jumping in, with the winner-take-all policy in the later primaries, could conceivably throw this thing to Bush. Romney could not possibly win the general but he could win the GOP nomination with his pluralities, or make a deal with Bush for VP spot. It is imperative that we unite behind one candidate NOW, and I think that candidate must be Trump. It will be Trump/probably Cruz, or Bush/Romney. Take your pick.

Neither would I. A close acquaintance of mine who is a nice guy but dumb as a rock when it comes to politics was regretting his votes for ObaMao (twice) and expressing his hope to me the Romney would get back in so he could correct his mistake.

However, with people that politically obtuse, I wouldn't bet the family farm on him actually doing so. I'd have to think hard on even betting the outhouse.

All things considered, though, I just don't see him getting back in. Trump isn't all that different from Mushy Mitt on the issues, but he is way different in style. For every vote Trump would lose from the oatmeal crowd for being too outspoken, he will gain two or more from conservatives tired of soft mush.

Jeb is about as “acceptable” as rat poison.
