Hey, wait a minute.

I thought only liberals had a license to practice civil disobedience.

Who said she must issue the license or resign?

I’m sorry to say this, but there is no longer any political solution to this abominable state we find ourselves.

Take that as you will.

Yes, but what is going to get her out of jail? The Federal judge can let her rot in jail if she doesn’t comply with his order. The is a prisoner of conscience.

Can anyone explain what Walker actually said?

"In the end, this is the balance that you gotta have to have in America, between the laws that are out there, but ultimately ensuring that the Constitution is upheld. I read that the Constitution is very clear that people have freedom of religion -- you have the freedom to practice religious beliefs out there, it's a fundamental right."

All they had to do was fire her...not throw her in jail.

Bobby’s position opens up our government for Muslims to only enforce sharia-compliant laws—not acceptable.

"While three candidates have publicly supported Davis' right to only provide marriage licenses for man-woman couples, three others have said she must do so or resign."

She is not issuing any marriage licenses. The Supreme Court ruling rendered all Kentucky marriage license laws null and void. Ergo she has no authority to issue a license. So she's not issuing any licenses.

I’m glad that Cruz, Walker, and Jindal are standing up for religious liberty. These are three good men whom I could support.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;...
As far as I can tell, by the wording of the first, her constitutional rights haven't been violated...Congress didn't make any laws restricting her rights. Nor did Congress force her to issue licenses.

Now it is a matter of when, not if, pastors are jailed for refusing to marry deviants.

Is this “lip service” from Walker and Jindal or will they actually intervene in some way to show solidarity with what they SAY on behalf of Kim Davis.
