Trump blasts Hugh Hewitt as 'a third-rate radio announcer'
The Hill ^ | 09/04/2015 | Mark Hensch

Donald Trump is blasting Hugh Hewitt after stumbling over foreign policy questions in an interview with the conservative radio host.

“[He is] a third rate radio announcer,” Trump told hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Friday morning.

Trump clashed with the radio host on Thursday evening's "The Hugh Hewitt Show." Hewitt began asking him what he called “commander-in-chief” questions about international affairs. The exchange became heated when Trump mistook a question about Iran’s Quds Force as a query about the Kurds.

On Friday, Trump said that the broadcaster’s show is beneath him despite his multiple appearances with Hewitt since launching his 2016 campaign in June. Trump said Hewitt was trying to embarrass him by asking about obscure topics.

“Every question was, ‘do you know this one or know that one?’” Trump said.

LOL, Trump has thinner skin than Obama. “the Donald” is a crybaby when challenged with tough questions. If he can’t handle Hewitt, I can imagine the rage tweets and whining we’d get from him if was President and the courts, Congress or some foreign leader simply told him “no’. Trump simply doesn’t have the temperament to be a decent President.

Trump, unlike many others (including Clinton and 0bama), does not ask for any questions prior to interviews.

I expect people to stumble on minutia--especially if it's not their area of common knowledge. By the way. what Forth compiler did you prefer on Atari ST computers and what would you have most wanted to improve in it?

I follow a lot of this crap semi-closely. Like Obama and Hanoi Boi Johnny, today is the first time I’ve ever heard of the Quds. Hewitt is an @$$.

You can’t have a secure country without having a secure border.

On that simple, but most important question,Trump seems to be the only one who “Gets” it.

Of course he is not in the pocket of the cheap labor lobby like Bush, Rubio and Walker.

He’s been saying all these things about the middle east, because he just repeats what he reads on conservative websites and whatever his aides say will catch a persons ears. It’s good he is saying them, but to just out right get mad about a question concerning the Middle East.

Yeesh.

Now look at the FR Trumpet Army, blaring away about how their guy outed “another GOPe traitor”. Trump is butt hurt over being asked a question, it’s a riot.

The Quds force has been around since 1980. It’s become very active and emboldened since Obama became President and has killed many Americans. Trump is going to need to know who is killing Americans if he’s going to be half as great as he says he’s going to be. He should have some knowledge unless he’s going to delegate that to others.

Just like when someone, I can’t remember who, asked Bush if he knew who the leader of Pakistan was....................

I think it was someone even more obscure; I think it was the leader of Chechnya. This Hewitt question was the same sort of BS.

He is a total egomaniac, narcissistic, petty, and thin skinned. He reminds me of the current occupant of the WH in this regard.

Yup.

Don't forget, much like the current occupant of the White House, Trump supporters will excuse, forgive or overlook anything he does - no matter how childish, boneheaded or ignorant.

Pretty sure Trump has been surrounded with "yes men" for so long he simply doesn't know how to handle anyone challenging him. The one thing we know, the Trumpsters never will either.

Trump may be the biggest crybaby ever to run for president.

I like Hugh, but he was pro-RINOmeny in the last disaster (formerly called an election).

One cannot trust his judgement.

Trump can’t hold a candle to Hewitt intellectually, not that I agree with all of Hewitt’s positions.

So we’ve been dealing with Iran for years and years, those of us who care about those issues know about the Quds forces. Trump makes claims about things, doesn’t know about them, but gets mad instead of just rolling with the question.

That somehow makes HH an ass? Trump miss steps and acts like a brat and the Trumpet crowd is blaring about bad ol’ Mr. Hewit.

So in essence, instead of him calling these people out for their pathetic tactics, that we have been doing for years here, he should now take the route of just saying something soft spoken and docile, while the same media people will STILL write headlines calling him stupid for not knowing about some obscure Iranian military unit?

And then have people here accuse him of having no spine and “wilting” in the face of media attacks?

GW Bush had that “temperament”. Boy that help him out in spades, didn’t it?

Don’t forget that Trump promises he’ll steal there oil. He’s nobody’s fool. He’ll actually steal the oil. What an embarrassment for our great nation. He’s as vain as Obama and even more thin skinned.

Do you think Hillary, Obama or Kerry could have answered that question? They don’t even get asked.

Are most of you aware that HH and Mark Levin are good friends? Mark has said that many times on his show.

This must be why Cruz is “a big Donald Trump fan.”
