VDH - If your buddies at NR and others continue to support the GOPe at all cost, America will soon be dead.

The World, not just the West, is heading into a new Dark Ages, where everything is set in motion on the whim of a bureaucrat. People will cut the trees to keep warm as the next Ice Age approaches, or at least mini Ice Age, because the bureaucrats will not burn fossil fuels to save the trees. People leave California to flee an over-regulated hell-hole only to wonder how their new locale turned into a sh!t-hole they just left. For these people history only begins with the last election, and, they are doomed to repeat it. The buggy whip will make a comeback, and, the age of innovation will fade.

Gosh, that’s a profound, succinct thought.

"Boredom is the logical result of that lethal mix of affluence and leisure."

Ain't that the truth. I know tons of peoples whose families worked themselves hard to get wealthy; only to see their heirs, who did not have to work for it, fritter it away.

They’re coming to the west for obvious reasons.

To stop them from coming we need to bring the west to them.

Maybe we need to consider re-colonization.

The argument that Hitler made against representative democracy is that no single individual is ever held responsible. When things go wrong it becomes a finger pointing contest, and no one ever pays the consequences.

Of course putting a single person in charge has its drawbacks as well.

Maybe we need to consider re-colonization.

That may very well be what it takes.
