Kennedy knew full well what he was doing when he said people have the freedom to TEACH ideas he considers hateful. What we do not have the freedom to do is to live as if those ideas were correct.

Hope she fires all the clerks in the office, dumps the computers, and renders the office unworkable.

Well that is fantastic! Her name does not have to appear on this form. Seems to me it is and could have been a very fair temporary comprimise without the jail time.
I agree with you, I am not sure it is legal in Kentucky anyway.

S”till does not answer the question — is this LEGAL under Kentucky Law

Get 50 lawyers 20 judges and several Congressmen together and have them form an opinion. If they agree the Judge was correct to order the Clerk to issue the license the the decision. If they don't agree with the Judge the decision still stands, because the decision had nothing to do with the law, only the agenda.

Yeah, shouldn't she just have been fired and then be done with it? I don't understand either how this was a jail-able offense?

The only thing is this — Prohibiting same-sex marriage IS Kentucky Law.

Even worse, she's being arrested for upholding the law.

I do have an analogy: Abortions are allowed by law, but hospitals, doctors and nurses are not required to participate. So, why is virtually everyone (County clerks, bakers, florists, etc.) required to participate in, support and even celebrate same-sex weddings???
