GRAYSON, Ky. (AP) — After five days behind bars, county clerk Kim Davis was ordered released from jail Tuesday by the judge who locked her up for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples.
U.S. District Judge David Bunning lifted the contempt order against Davis, saying he was satisfied that her deputies are fulfilling their obligation to grant licenses to same-sex couples in her absence. But he warned Davis not to interfere with them.
The move came down just before Davis was to receive jailhouse visits from presidential candidates Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz. Dozens of her had supporters gathered on the jailhouse lawn for what they called a rally for religious freedom.

Kim Davis was ELECTED.
The Governor of Kentucky should have this Judge arrested and warn him not to "interfere" with the laws of the state.
This ain’t over by a longshot.
How does the fact that other people are doing her job make it so her behavior is no longer in contempt of court? Me thinks this is a quickie run away excuse as the national hammers were about to come down on a gay judge.

A photo of U.S. District Judge David Bunning should be posted all over the internet. We should investigate his private life and his family. He needs to be destroyed, and everyone near and dear to him need to be destroyed. This is the only way liberals learn.
Sounds like the judge and his statist friends didn’t like the incoming they were beginning to receive.
Perhaps she should go directly to the clerk’s office and fire all those deputies who have issued null licenses against her guidance-she is the clerk after all.
As I see it, and as I have stated since this began, there is no law for her to follow-it has been struck down by the SCOTUS. Last I knew, when a law is struck down, it ceases to exist, not that it is modified somehow by the robed judges, after all, legislatures write laws, not judges.
Ex. Heller II v Dc, fed judge struck DC gun laws, stayed his ruling until DC passed a law allowing (onerously of course) handgun purchases. MaCDonald v IL, fed judge struck Chicago/IL law prohibiting possession/carry, gave the state a period to pass laws that provided relief (either open or concealed carry). Lawless possession of handguns was not allowed by the fed judge, so why lawless issuance of illicit “marriage licenses” same-sex” or natural in many states ( my own MO included.)
