Its a phoney comparison and they know it. If Kim Davis was really an Islamist the left would go out of their way to defend her

Reminds me of Time Magazine’s cover of John Ashcroft as a Taliban member.

In the process of dying as an empire, Rome attacked Christians and Nero even blamed them for starting a fire.Corrupt powerful people need a scapegoat, and meek Christians make an excellent target. I expect this to get uglier and worse before enough Christians wake up and take it on.

All of these people, and that is beginning to include a lot of Christians in name only, are blinded and without the ability to see or recognize the truth.

It’s amazing how they can ignore the fact that a book that is over two thousand years old is foretelling today’s events with stunning accuracy. This same book even foretells the rise of people just like them, who mock their Creator and those who worship Him. Their very deranged, unreasoning hatred should be proof to those tempted to doubt.

In addition, if the “hate” that they so love to point to in our beliefs really existed; we would be silently laughing behind our hands, knowing of the eternal punishment that awaits them if they continue in their present evil. Moreover, that is what Christians are constrained to do above all else. We are to tell the truth as we have been given it, preach the Gospel, no matter what threats or harm we must endure for doing so. If our message isn’t received, like the first disciples, we are to shake the dust off our feet and move on.

Many Christian ministries are totally abandoning the purpose for which they are ordained; to exhort and educate all people to repent and accept the free gift of salvation. Too many churches, in order to fill the pews, are preaching a feel good message to the world and totally ignoring their commission. Jesus told the disciples that friendship with the world is enmity with The Almighty and that no worldly concern, even if it’s related to family or friends, is more important than trying to save the unbeliever. According to most ministries of today, Hell is going to be empty. After all, none of our loved ones are going there. They’re good people. Neither are our friends.

Yes, if we really hated those people who hate us; we would be inwardly laughing every time they attack us and we certainly wouldn’t want them to know how to save themselves.

The core theme of Islam is carried by the meaning of its name, “submit”. God (that is the True God of the Bible) also demands commitment. The difference between the two cannot be more stark. In fact they are as different from each other as night and day. Anyone who says otherwise is either a fool or a useful idiot.

Islam is advanced by force. It presumes to own people for when a person is born into Islam, it is a capital crime for them to stop practicing Islam. Islamic culture demands that each faithful Muslim be willing to carry out violence against those who do not accept Islam. Violence is rewarded by securing a higher priority to enter the Islamic Paradise where women outnumber men. The more committed a person a Muslim is, the more willing he will be to enforce Islam upon others and to enforce Islamic laws upon his family members and others in society.

A follower of Jesus is committed to becoming more like Him in every way. Although Jesus has been given all power, Jesus knows that a person can only come to Him voluntarily, of their own free will. A person who is born into a Christian family must come to his own understanding and acceptance of the ways of God. Although Jesus was not a pacifist, he told His followers that they should bend over backwards to live at peace with others, even other who were treating them badly.

Jesus warned against living by the sword, which is exactly what Islam teaches. Even so, Jesus warned of a time where general conditions would become so dangerous that if you lacked a sword, you should sell whatever you need to in order to buy one (Luke 22:36).

It sickens me when I read of anyone who thinks that Islam and Christianity are just two similar religions. The deity of Islam is not the God of the Bible. “allah” is a liar and a usurper.

Words do have very serious consequences. The Hutu Rwandans who hacked a million of their fellow Tutsi citizens to death were driven by very similar rhetoric. Read the book ‘Left To Tell’ by Immaculee Ilibagiza . Compare the Hutu rhetoric to US progressives and witness the frenzied killing that propaganda can incite in educated people. It is very chilling. A difficult time is coming.
Our hope is in Jesus Christ and His Love will triumph.

It’s scary enough when peace-loving Jesus followers are compared to ISIS. What’s even scarier is that many people believe the comparison is accurate. Have they completely lost touch with reality?

Any one who is surprised by this has been living in a bubble. Read up on the history of the persecution of the church and you'll see that such slander is common. From the vantage point of history, America's religious freedom is rare and temporary.

This should not come as a surprise. Jesus said the world would hate Christians just as it hated Him.

“Have they completely lost touch with reality?”

The only reality, comrades, is the revolution! What does it matter if some silly bourgois psychological term is applied to the activities of those who want to liberate mankind from the tyranny of capitalism?

The issue is never the issue comrades! The issue is the ALWAYS the revolution!

Onward comrades!

So in today’s America, jeopardizing state secrets, possibly causing a US Ammbassador to die is great to run for POTUS, but denying to issue a marriage license to two men is cause for jail?
