Bulgaria sends troops to guard border with Turkey

Bulgaria is sending more soldiers to strengthen controls along its border with Turkey and avoid a refugee influx that has overwhelmed its neighbours, Defense Minister Nikolay Nenchev said on Wednesday.

"There is a change in the situation in the past few days and it is hard to predict where the refugee wave will head...so we are standing ready," Nenchev told public BNR radio.

Fifty soldiers have been sent to the border and a further 160 could be deployed by the end of Thursday. The Bulgarian army could send up to 1,000 troops to back up border police if needed, he added.

Bulgaria took the measures after reports that hundreds of mostly Syrian refugees have spent the night in the open near the Turkish border with Greece, which is also very close to Bulgarian-Turkish border.

Bulgaria is a member of the European Union but not the border-free Schengen Area.

About 660 migrants have tried to cross the Bulgarian-Turkish border in the past 25 hours but have returned voluntarily after they had seen that the border was well-guarded, the chief secretary of the interior ministry Georgi Kostov, told reporters.

Good, soon the Muslim horde will be trapped and find it increasingly difficult to continue their invasion of our Continent.

Turkey sounds like Europe’s Mexico: a `jumping-off’ point for all the people Asia Minor doesn’t want.

Next time you hear a ROPer talk about his brothers, ask him why Islamic countries spurned their Syrian brothers, leaving it up to the infidels to care for them.

Anyone have a copy of the Saudi’s huge, deluxe tent campground for Ramadan hajis ... with money?

” Fifty soldiers have been sent to the border and a further 160 could be deployed”

If they aren’t deployed with tanks and artillery, they’ll be pretty useless. how big is that border again?

Meanwhile latest from Germany....

Police killed a "known Islamic extremist from Iraq", who was waving a knife in a Berlin street. He attacked a female officer, according to German prosecutors.

The attacker was of Iraqi origin, Al-Qaeda affiliated, 41-year-old 'Rafik Y'., according to the Bild newspaper. The man, who had a criminal record, was shot and killed by German police in Berlin on Thursday, AP reports. He was waving a knife on a street in Spandau. When the police arrived at the scene, he managed to seriously injure a female officer.

The incident happened at about 10 a.m. local time in western Berlin, when four police cars arrived at the scene where passers-by reported an “insane man with a knife.”

The female officer, 44, sustained a wound in the neck. She was rushed to a military hospital on a rescue helicopter, and is now recovering after surgery, Bild reported.

Exactly, yet the MSM Propaganda machine insists on calling them “poor refugees”

Absurd.

Media on these refugees is in full court propaganda....even photos are being taken down on google as when I go back to get them they're gone...but of course MArk is an Obama leftist man...

Meanwhile Hungary sent their militar in mass to their borders today...they understand the situation...and guess what...the refugees aren't going there now...Hungary handled it well...

Yes tragic.

I thought this should have been the top item on the TV news, but of course it was only a blip on their landscape.

Every country needs to follow what Hungary are doing, a united stand, if anyone backs down, then we’re certainly doomed.

Astonishing that we already have this sort of scum already amongst us, now we’re letting in more of them. Insanity.

Well...I’m not sure if they’re just trying to control the “corridor” of refugees or some just don’t want them....’Croatia’ closed seven out of eight border crossings....tonight with ‘Serbia’ ......while ‘Slovenia’ turned back trains carrying migrants....

Seems to me they’re simply trying to control the pace of the influx not stop it or prevent it.

The next problem though is, that Brussels has mentioned the other day about putting sanctions on EU countries that don’t play along and let the Muslim hordes in.

Now that’s disgraceful, Brussels threatening countries in the EU.

Well Merkle’s making plans for jobs now....sounds like an Obama plan to me....

She said her government is to create:

10,000 new jobs for civil servants to process asylum applications.
3,000 new jobs for police to deal with the crisis.

She’s released approx. 4 billion dollars more to cope with the cost of migrants ‘next year’,

..... in addition to 1 billion of spending it has already approved for this year.

Yes indeed...it’s called strong arming (blackmailing) and was threatened from the get go when countries began to resist....Merkle actually is the one behind this....she’s calling the shots and currently has the power in the Eu so she’s swinging it now....

Further looks like the UN might get a woman for it’s Leadership role next...so when you have women running the show you can pretty much guarantee their emotions are going to get in the way of wise decisions.
