A post-debate poll finds that Ben Cason has leap-frogged over businessman Donald Trump as the candidate most Republican voters believe will win the GOP nomination.

Rasmussen Reports said that 59 percent of likely Republican voters believe that Carson will end up on top after the primary and caucus season is over next year.

He is closely followed by Donald Trump, at 58 percent. Carly Fiorina at 40 percent and Jeb Bush at 40 percent.

The Gravis Marketing poll was liked a little while back by Trump supporters when it showed Trump way ahead but is despised by them now when it shows Fiorina and Trump tied. See how it works?

And the Voter Gravity poll (Carly Fiorina ahead by 4% over The Donald) is despised as being an outlier, but other leeser-known polling firms aren't despised as being an outlier when they show The Donald ahead.

See how it works?

And now this poll will be despised, too.

And WND will be tossed under the bus even though they are being surveyed as one of the most adamantly pro-Trump websites on the net and even though they are just a messenger for the news from Rasmussen Reports.

Remember, the same arguments that you use against these polls can be used the other way, too.

Trump supporters either like these polls when they are good for The Donald and also when they aren't good for The Donald, or they can quit playing the games with polls --- as they cannot have it both ways.

You keep spamming thus Gravis poll. This wone isn’t a poll of who you support but who you think will be likely nominee-—funny because the same Gravis poll you keep spamming says Carson is toast.

Polls, something to keep up with, definitely with indicators but not a tell-all by any means.

Finoia and Carson are both flashes in the pan. By the end of October they will be in the back of the pack. If Trump also falls, then Cruz and Walker still have a chance to rise (again in the case of Walker). Bush is universally hated and Cruz and Walker are both strong candidates.

I didn’t like the Gravis Marketing poll a few weeks ago. I had never even heard of it until today.

Arguments from Trump supporters that are against Rasmussen now, but were the other way when they showed good polling numbers for The Donald in 3...2...1...

Read the OP comment.

Remembveerm, you cannot have it both ways.

that s how it works.

If an outlier poll is good for The Donald then other outlier polls that aren’t good for him must also be given the same credence from Trump supporters.

And the Gravis marketing poll for uber-conservative OAN (where Trump was interviewed by Palin) that I put on a thread here (that is not so good for The Donald) was liked by Trump supporters in the past - but now they now don’t like the new polling numbers.

Trump supporters cannot have it both ways. ;)

This poll is asking who they think will be the nominee, not who they would vote for. You’d better hope and pray the GOPe, media, and donor class don’t succeed in running Trump out of the race or you’ll have another indebted politician who will happily finish off America to stay in office.

most Republican voters believe will win the GOP nomination. ................................... I believe it, the RNC will push and accept that. God forbid it should be Trump, that would put the RNC in a tizzy.

And to put Carson on top after his snooze-fest the other night is bizarre.

Good points about polling. Of course it’s going to bounce around a lot more before a candidate is decided. What is very interesting is that all of the top candidates are not career politicians. There appears to be a large anti-politician sentiment in the country.

If the GOP nominates any of The Cheap Labor Express candidates, they will lose

¡Yeb!
Grahamnesty
Huckster
Rubberio
Kasich
Carson
Fiorina
Pataki
NJFatBoy
Paul

La Raza Rick has thankfully dropped out.

Many of us will not support any candidate that advocates abandoning the rule of law and surrending the country to illegal aliens and their employers.

Yes indeed. Trump is bacon sizzling in it. He may be overdone before the primaries begin but he is orders of magnitude above those two.

Despised?

Surely you jest.

I love a good laugh in the morning. And as humorous as these projections are, they pale in comparison to the fool that actually points to them in belief and desperation.

Let’s face it, you and the rest of the damaged dislike Trump folks need to seek help.

Trump is outdrawing people to his events by a 10 to 1 margin.

This report is idiotic.

“Don’t believe your lying eyes. Believe what we tell you.”

No thanks. Really appreciate the effort you all puy out that only succeeds in bumping up Trump’s numbers.

59 percent of likely Republican voters believe that Carson will end up on top..... ...followed by Donald Trump, at 58 percent. Carly Fiorina at 40 percent and Jeb Bush at 40 percent.

59% + 58% + 40% + 40% = 100% ---Common Core math results.

I have always called Ras as a phony poll, I have zero respect for any pollster, when push comes to shove in crunch time they almost always go for the Democrat or the establishment in the end
