But her story is plausible. HP ships boxcar loads of equipment to VARs all over the world.
Can't keep tabs on what they do with it until/unless it's registered under warranty.
This is a challenge for my aging brain, but I remember getting in trouble with my sister and brother-in law, both employees of HP back then, when I got very upset when reading about HP shipping stuff to Iran.
My son was still in the army then, and it really made me lose my cool. I can’’t pin down the exact date that it came across the interwebs, but a better researcher than I could sleuth it out, and pin down the timeline.
Other than that, it reminds me of Rush’s parody of Hillary’s brain being in a blender, so she can’t remember...
