I’d like to know how the “order” came about to discharge him. A discharge can’t just be ordered. There has to be some sort of hearing.
If it were me, I would have requested a court martial and let a jury of my peers pass judgment. I would point out the policy and how it is not a lawful one to ignore crimes being committed.
