Mogadishu would be better still. Somalia has 2000 miles of coastline along one of the world's busiest trade routes, a climate like California and a population density like Colorado. They could be a target destination for refugee resettlement with the UN to oversee it.
Let them enjoy some of the benefits of diversity.
