This almost goes without saying, is axiomatic...do you want to dispute it? I think it is almost a given.

Now now....smoking/vaping is not freedom, and rules against smoking/vaping is not tyranny.

If smoking/vaping is not a manifestation of personal freedom, what would you call it?

If you want to smoke, then just do it. That is freedom. If you do it around folks who don’t want you to because it bothers them and they toss you out of some place - that, too is freedom.

Let me change this sentence just a little...for example, if I say, 'If you want to be a Christian in a Muslim country, then just do it. That is freedom. If 7th-century barbarians want to behead you for it because it bothers them - that, too is freedom. Would you agree with this? Of course not!

If you want to light up in a room and expect to be protected - THAT is tyranny.

How, exactly, is this tyranny? Smoking is a perfectly legal activity, condoned by all the various states. Are you saying the normal protections afforded all Americans are somehow not applicable to someone indulging in a legal activity?

I think you smokers have it backwards. If you are afraid of breaking the rules, then you are your own problem.

What does this sentence even mean?

NOTE: I personally do NOT smoke.
