A man who was shot and killed in a gun battle with deputies early Tuesday morning in San Leandro was identified as a 32-year-old Oakland resident, authorities said Thursday.
Dante Osborne was shot multiple times after exchanging gunfire with deputies in an alleyway near Interstate 238 around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, said Sgt. Ray Kelly with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.
