Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, says President Obamas Middle East foreign policy is failing on every single measurement.
Theyve had this containment strategy for ISIS and radical jihad within Iraq and Syria, and its destined to failure, Nunes said on ABCs This Week on Sunday, referring to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. And its failing on every single measurement that you look at.
Nunes said Russian aggression in the region may eventually force the Obama administration to take military action. I think that Putin has now moved in thousands [of troops], dozens of airplanes, Nunes said.
He also questioned Obamas decision to meet with Putin at the United Nations on Monday in New York.
Its always good to have dialogue, Nunes said. But youre going to have to, at some point, draw some real red lines in the sand.
The administration has come under fire for its plan to arm Syrian rebels in the war-torn state, after Central Command said the $500 million program had only trained four or five fighters. Centcom also revealed on Friday that a quarter of the weapons cache provided to rebels had been voluntarily given to al Qaedas Syria arm, Jabhhat al Nursa.
How can I say this?
He has a goal of completely destablizing the middle east and of providing the means to install an Islamic Caliphate to serve as a replacement for the Ummayad Caliphate.
It seems to me that his policies are very, very close to achieving his goals...probably well beyond his wildest imagination.
The good Congressman must remember that what is good for the USA is against Obama policy.
Dorkbama the Muslim and strategy?
His strategy is succeeding, thank you very much.
Until we play cowboys and muslims.
It already has....
