I made the same point about the original story. These are the same people who call any armored vehicle a tank. They demonstrate they do not know what they are talking about, and that whatever they say is therefore suspect.
I used to call everything a ‘bulldozer’ and I assume the reporters and most people not familiar with large earth-moving equipment do as well. An innocent mistake, but not like calling every long gun an “AK-47AR15AssaultRifleWeaponWithScaryBlackThingysOnIt”...................
