#BlackLivesMatter sets its sights on the evil that is the Twin Cities Marathon

In the ongoing battle over the proper role of law enforcement and conflicts between officers and the public there has obviously been one overlooked set of villains: runners. That’s right… we’re talking about those joggers who go out in their fancy running shorts and high end shoes, competing in the curious process of spending their day pounding the pavement along ridiculously long routes when they could have just summoned an Uber to get there in about ten minutes. They are clearly the problem with today’s society and Black Lives Matter in St. Paul, Minnesota is finally going to do something about it by shutting down the Twin Cities Marathon. (Star Tribune)

Well, if shutting down a marathon doesn't win you some converts to your cause, I don't know what will. Smooth move there ex-lax.

...and in a place like MN, which has been so overtly hostile to every dipsy libtard idea that’s come down the pike for the past 100 years...

The runners should run armed.

Stunts like that gain and enthuse supporters in the MSM and in legislatures and in courts, all where it matters.

As if black people are saying

"Hey, you white people, despite physically assaulting you daily with polar bear contests, carjackings, and random murders, we, The Black Underclass, have decided to try and stop the most liberal whites of all from having fun.

We think this thoroughly pointless, wrongheaded, and irritating demonstration will go over real well with the bulk of white America. We think the whites who were not yet totally fed up with us will now join the ranks of the rest of white Americans who have Extreme Black Fatigue or EBF."

LMAO...I wonder what these idiots will do if confronted with a group of ISIS?

Maybe we should ship them over to the ME and watch....

"Well, if shutting down a marathon doesn't win you some converts to your cause, I don't know what will."

IMHO, this whole BLM thing is an effort by the Democrat Party to rally black voters to the polls next year by convincing them that they are all victims of evil whites and only the Democrat Party can save them. However, in all likelihood, this lawlessness will rally more whites to the polls to vote Republican to stop this lawlessness than it will Democrats of all colors to vote Democrat and for a continuation of this uncivilized conduct.

The national media is in love with the movement and their talking heads are more than willing to turn a blind eye to BLM’s violent rhetoric and counterproductive tactics in the name of good ratings and applause from liberals.

Stupid. Even worse is that it appears that BLM members feel entitled to do whatever they want because they are somehow "victims". The only thing they are victims of is their own stupidity and making piss-poor decisions throughout their lives, including being a part of BLM. How sad is it that your own self-image is so poor that you feel you need to create a movement to correct how the rest of the world views you. The correction is simple: Quit acting like a bunch of worthless thugs.

I thought Nigerians and other native Africans always won these big marathons. What’s the fuss about then?

I never understood the appeal of a marathon unless if you were one of the best runners aiming to be in first place. But work so hard just to come in at 80th place?

Kenyans, usually. In any case, black Africans seem to view "African-Americans" (or whatever they're calling themselves this week) with poorly concealed contempt.

Clearly.

But work so hard just to come in at 80th place?

I finished.

And even if I had been dead last ...

I FINISHED.

Which you did not.

Simply finishing is an accomplishment not to be sneezed at.

I’m not a racer, but I like to ride in races. My only goal is to not come in last in my category.

I look at it as an event to be attended and participate in...I think many are like-minded. Meet lots of people, have fun, etc.
